Aluminum steel large cap double drum type blind rivet
The aluminum steel large cap double drum type blind rivet is a special open type blind rivet composed of an aluminum body with a large cap and a carbon steel core. When double drum rivets are riveted, the core pulls the end of the rivet body into a single drum, double drum, or multi-drum shape, clamping the two structural components to be riveted together and distributing the pressure on the blind end of the rivet joint.
Features:
1. Multi-layer riveting capability and good sealing performance;
2. Good hole filling capability, able to compensate for irregular holes, oversized holes, or oval holes during riveting;
3. After riveting, one or more large drums are formed at the axial blind end, evenly distributing the rivet load on a larger bearing surface, making it more suitable for multi-layer thin plate riveting and non-metallic component connection environments;
4. Provides strong shock resistance and core locking force to avoid noise.
5. Wide riveting range, can reduce spare rivet inventory, suitable for varying riveting thicknesses (recommended riveting thickness is larger than open type)
Applications:
The aluminum steel large cap double drum type rivet is suitable for connections between metal parts, metal and plastic parts, and plastic parts, as well as between metal sheets. It is widely used in aviation, shipping, automotive, home appliances, electronics, electrical equipment, general light industry, and heating and cooling air conditioning fields.
The aluminum steel large cap double drum type blind rivet is composed of an aluminum alloy body containing 2.5% magnesium and a carbon steel core, with selectable diameter series of 3.2, 4.0, 4.8, see specification parameter table for details:
Product testing methods are conducted according to GB/T 3098.18-2004 (ISO14589:2000).
